The Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort features open air lobby spaces with wooden beams and huge performance stages. Rooms are contained in multi-colored 3-4 story buildings, and each air-conditioned room has a hair dryer, room safe, and balcony or patio.

This is a beachfront resort surrounded by palm trees and 3 km of white sand beach protected by a coral reef. Domestic drinks in the disco are included, & guests can use the grill restaurants and buffets at the Barcelo Beach, Garden, Golf & Casino Resorts.

There are no handicap rooms. La Fuente Restaurant (at Barcelo Casino) and all of the restaurants & bars at the Barcelo Palace are not included in the exchange program.

Barcelo Bavaro Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72 course. This course is flat and very playable, with narrow fairways, palm trees, lakes, and dense vegetation.
