Ohana Keauhou Beach Resort completed a $17 million renovation in 1999. Property features include six tennis courts (two lit), a sundry shop, and complimentary shuttles to Kona Country Club and Keahou Shopping Village.

The hotel is located directly on the ocean, approximately 5 miles from Kailua Kona.

Beach Nearby Kahaluu Beach is less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and is considered one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island.
