PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
The magnificent Iberostar Tucan is a very popular All-Inclusive resort, nestled across 28 acres of lush jungle with a spectacular beachfront and artistic flair. Literally immersed in vegetation, stone laid walkways wind through a light forest of trees, with restaurants on raised platforms peering over lagoons filled with tropical goldfish. A gigantic thatched palapa rises over the lobby, with statues of Mayan figures and a pyramid shaped kiosk bar. Covered marble walkways lined with blue pillars pass beneath Mayan arches, leading to specialty restaurants and the main self serve Tulum dining room. An immense tri-sectioned pool appears like an oasis on the edge of the jungle. Watersports and world-class diving instruction are offered in the crystal-clear aqua Caribbean. Please note: Men must wear dress shorts for buffet dinner and long pants for the a la carte restaurants. The hotel has set a limit on the number of dining visits per stay for all of the a la carte restaurants. At check-in the hotel provides each room with a number of restaurant coupons that may be used based on the duration of the stay. One coupon is issued for 3-4 night stays, 2 coupons for 5-8 night stays and 3 coupons for 9-11 night stays or longer. The above limitations apply to dinner only and all passengers may dine at the buffet restaurant as many times as they wish.

Iberostar Tucan is a luxurious All-Inclusive beachfront resort in perfect harmony with the environment. Fully appointed rooms with balconies or terraces are housed in 10 bungalow style 3-story buildings surrounded by 28 acres of lush, exuberant gardens.

The resort features a jungle-style garden, a large lake pool, nightly entertainment, a disco, three lighted tennis courts, and world class diving instruction with state-of-the-art equipment. Domestic and International drinks are available 10 am to 2 am.

The Iberostar is approximately 30 miles from the Cancun Airport, just a few minutes from Playa del Carmen, and right next to an 18-hole golf course. The resort is situated directly on the beach, within view of the island of Cozumel.

Beach The Iberostar Tucan is situated directly on a 1/8 mile stretch of white sandy beach. There is a 5-Star SCUBA Diving Center offering optional dives for certified divers and certification courses for new divers (there is an extra charge for these services).

La Marimba
An a la carte grill steakhouse, reservations are required. Gentlemen are requested to wear slacks or Bermuda shorts (no jeans). Hours are 6:30 to 10:30 pm.
Palapa Grill Uxmal
A beach/pool snack bar serving a continental breakfast from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, a buffet lunch from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm, coffee and cakes from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, and snacks until 6:00 pm.
Restaurant Cozumel

Tulum
The main restaurant serves delicious buffet-style meals, featuring show cooking and special theme nights. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 am, dinner is served from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. No shorts or sleeveless t-shirts are allowed during dinner hours.

Childrens Activities There are three different clubs available for children between the ages of 5 and 16 from 10:15 am to 5:00 pm. The Mini-Club is for kids between 5 and 7, the Maxi-Club is for 8 to 12, and the Teeny Club is for 13 to 16. There is a Kiddie disco at 8:00 pm every night in the theatre.

Golf Playacar Golf Club
This championship-level golf course was carved right out of the jungle by the Robert Von Hagge Associates. This 7,202 yard course is rated 73.1 and has plenty of tee boxes for every level of play. It is situated next to Playa del Carmen.
